Navigon GPS apps coming for Android, Windows
Navigon has had an iPhone GPS navigation app available for some time now. At CES 2010, the GPS manufacturer has announced MobileNavigator for Windows and Android. The respective mobile apps are both onboard solutions so that use doesn’t require a cellphone signal. Features of both the Windows and Android apps are similar to the iPhone app and Navigon’s GPS navigators. Thinks Reality View Pro, Lane Assistant Pro, Speed Assistant, Day & Night Mode, text-to-speech, and 3D map views. The Android app is expected to be available in spring 2010 for a one time fee. The Windows app will be available from Pocketgear.com and Smartphone.netin the next few weeks for $89, though it’ll be discounted until February 14 to $69.
